Our farm is located in the Sheyenne River Valley of East Central North Dakota. When turned out to the pastures of native prairie grass, the horses and ponies roam on acres of hills and valleys.  The area is perfect for trail riding through draws and over rocky creeks or for taking a carriage ride on the prairie trails.

It is said that "The outside of a horse is good for the inside of a person."
The following photos show that kids of all ages can have fun with horses and ponies of all sizes.

 Sheyenne Liberty Belle
(Elizan Apollo x Molly)
2002 Half Welsh Mare

"Belle" is sired by our Welsh stallion,
Elizan Apollo, and out of  Molly,
a Belgian draft mare.
Belle stands 15.3 hh and has a mellow,
 friendly personality.

Belle attended her first show in June of 2005
which was the Heart of MN Welsh Show
 held at Sauk Centre, MN.
She was named Grand Champion Half Welsh
 under Judge Sarah Jane Martin.

Sheyenne Silver Dreamboy
Section B Welsh Gelding

(Asgard Silver Drum x Westrum's Dream Song)

Dreamboy's start in life was not that of an ordinary foal. His dam, Westrum's Dream Song, died shortly after he was born in June 2002. Until he learned to drink from a pail, Dreamboy was bottle-fed foal milk replacer  every 3 hours. He was raised by people and didn't realize he was a pony.

Dreamboy grew to be a healthy and
very friendly pony.

Pictured at 4 months of age, he
visits with residents of a
local nursing home.

Dressed as Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer,
Dreamboy was part of a local
"Parade of Lights" held during the
Holiday Season when he was 6 months old.

During Dreamboy's yearling and 2nd years, he was turned out to pasture so he could socialize with other horses and ponies.  Dreamboy is now full grown and has learned to pull a cart.
He has turned out to be a lively and useful pony.

Sheyenne Rocky
(Elizan Apollo x Sandy)

Rocky is a Half Welsh gelding previously
owned and shown by JoAnn Wilson
of  Hidden Lakes Farm, Wimauma, FL.
Rocky was the Grand Champion Open
Single Pleasure Driving Pony at the 2004
Florida State Fair.

Sheyenne Lottie Dottie
(Elizan Apollo x Sandy)
Dottie,  Half Welsh pinto mare, is now owned by Anita Grant of Northfield, MN.  As a yearling, Dottie was the WPCSA North Central Region Reserve Champion Half Welsh Age 2 & Under Colts and Fillies.
